About The Position

The Fuel Center Clerk assists customers, operates the cash register, and maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the fuel center. The role includes pumping gas, inspecting the area, recovering stock, completing reports and compliance documentation, and following company policies and safety standards. The clerk demonstrates the company’s values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety while providing support to customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Requirements

Familiarity with industry or technical terms and processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work without direct supervision.
Ability to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Model Customer 1st behavior and deliver and encourage excellent customer service.
Pump gas.
Complete daily tours and inspections.
Fill out incident and security reports.
Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Reports.
Recover displays and maintain department cleanliness.
Perform cashier functions.
Answer telephones.
Comply with corporate policies and safety guidelines and standards.
Promote and follow company initiatives.
Maintain knowledge of emergency plans, numbers, and procedures.
Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner.
Act honestly and with integrity regarding customer and business information.
Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
Maintain compliance documentation.
