About The Position

Develops and manages all import and export regulations and policies. Coordinates customs audits and inquiries. Assists in negotiating international freight and broker/forwarder contracts and requirements. Develops international trade policies and procedures. Manages adherence to all license requirements and ensures that all certifications and requirements are met (e.g., NAFTA, CTPAT, ITAR, EAR). Works closely with technical and legal entities to ensure tariff classification compliance. Develops and implements logistics services to support each element of a business area’s supply chain model.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of international trade experience with multi-national company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and work with senior management on complex trade issues
  • Good problem solving skills with ability to develop new ideas in order to provide innovative solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to initiate and sustain productive business relationships
  • Knowledge of TSA requirements
  • Good knowledge of electronics manufacturing environment and materials and processes.
  • B.S. in international business, or similar field, or equivalent, required.

Responsibilities

  • Develops/manages all import and export regulations and policies.

  • Manage all adherence to all license requirements and insure that all certifications and requirements are met-e.g. (NAFTA, CTPAT, ITAR,EAR. )
  • Work closely with technical and legal entities to ensure tariff classification compliance.
  • Develops and implements logistics services to support each element of a business area’s supply chain model.
  • Must abide by all health and Safety Rules and Regulations and comply with the principles of the TS 16949 and ISO14001 programs.
  • Responsible for high electronic and customer service quality, and compliance to company standards.
  • Maintain good working relationship with others.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in all aspects of the lab environment, this includes active participation in company committee, project teams and relevant job training.
