For nearly 100 years, Goodwill of Silicon Valley has been dedicated to building an inclusive economy in Silicon Valley by creating opportunities for people to achieve self-sufficiency and economic independence. By selling donated goods at affordable prices, Goodwill of Silicon Valley ensures the community has access to essential items while promoting sustainability through the reuse and recycling of goods. The stores serve as a source of the organization's program revenue and provide opportunities for job training and employment. Goodwill Mission Services seeks an operations, grant finance and compliance leader to oversee $8+ million in federal, state, and local funding agreements. Reporting to the Executive Director and leading a team of 5, this position manages multiple priorities, takes initiative, and drives for quality results. This role fosters clear communication and effective working relationships with external funders and our internal partners in Finance and Human Resources. This is an onsite position. Goodwill Mission Services runs about $8 to $9 million a year across seven government grants that span federal, state, county, and city funders. This role owns grant operations lifecycle end to end across that portfolio which includes analysis, compliance, audit support, and stakeholder communication. It also manages the working relationship with our parent organization, Goodwill of Silicon Valley, which provides our accounting system, payroll, HR, IT, and legal support. Goodwill of Silicon Valley also contributes a significant amount in unrestricted funds, drawn from donated goods retail profit, into Goodwill Mission Services operations.
