About The Position

At On-Site Health & Safety, our Health & Safety Incident Response Technicians or Field Technicians can explore various skill sets not otherwise available under traditional “EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, or LVN” positions. Our Field Technicians can expect to work in a mobile setting while responding in a company-provided vehicle to various worksites, including construction zones, warehouses, refineries, restaurants, and so much more. Technicians can enjoy the privilege of “clocking in and out” from their homes, eliminating the dreadful commute to and from traditional offices/work hubs. Our mission is simple: “We keep America working by being On-Site.” Our core services include responding to various worksites to help companies comply with health and safety requirements, providing incident reports and first aid after accidents, performing pulmonary function testing, drug screening, hearing tests, and drawing blood when certified/licensed.

Requirements

• CA EMT REQUIRED
• 1 year of experience
• Education or Experience in any of the following: EMT, AEMT, Paramedic
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be insurable by our motor vehicle insurance policy
• Must have at least a 3-5 year driving history
• No severe driving record “hits” including but not limited to aggressive driving, DUIs, excessive moving violations (speeding, running red lights, etc.)
• Pass a criminal background check, as permitted by law
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with job-specific drug testing/screening policy requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Current National Registry EMT a plus
• Documented evidence from a certified driving school in defensive and safe driving training (can substitute for driving history requirements)

Responsibilities

• Responding to various worksites to help companies comply with health and safety requirements
• Providing incident reports and first aid after accidents
• Performing pulmonary function testing
• Drug screening
• Hearing tests
• Drawing blood when certified/licensed
• Articulate instructions clearly
• Public speaking/addresses
• Stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs for extended periods
• Operate a motor vehicle for extended periods and long distances (up to 90% of their shift)
