About The Position

This management position's pay rate begins at $20/hr based on experience. KARM Stores management must be 18 or older. Department hours are 9a -6p, Mon - Sat. This role requires the ability to produce quick and accurate work in a face-paced environment, successfully staying above company average of pieces produced per hour. The Team Lead will motivate and encourage the processing team to adhere to daily and weekly production goals. They will be responsible for the training of new employees to ensure they have all essential training needed to be successful. The position requires the ability to appropriately set daily goals and plan their day according to projections/targets. Completing administrative needs of the store, including schedules, coaching documentation, performance logs, and any other necessary documentation, with accuracy and a high level of organization is crucial. Regular communication with the Director of Operations is necessary to ensure all store issues, praises, and employee relations are addressed. The Team Lead will lead and equip the team by living out KARM Stores' Mission to Reveal, Tell & Provide and carrying out the Core Values of being Trustworthy, Team-Minded, and Teachable.

Requirements

Ability to write in legible, clear handwriting.
Must have a commitment to KARM Stores’ mission and mission statement.
Computer skills to include general typing skills and web browsing capabilities.
Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions and goals provided in written or oral form.
Must become proficient in production so as to meet established goals.
Stand – up to 100% of a standard work day.
Lifting and Bending – up to 75% of a standard work day.
Moderate to heavy physical activity.
The ability to lift at least 50 pounds is essential for job performance.
Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the training of new employees in order to ensure the employees have all essential training needed to be successful in their position.
Must be able to appropriately set daily goals and plan their day according to projections/targets.
Complete with accuracy and a high level of organization all administrative needs of the store including schedules, coaching documentation, performance logs and any other necessary documentation that is needed for the operation of the department.
Communicate regularly with the Director of Operations to ensure all store issues, praises, employee relations, etc. are addressed.
