About The Position

The FSQ Lab Technician will execute microbiological testing procedures for verifying commercial sterility of finished products. This role involves executing Environmental Monitoring Program, Water Testing Program, and Sensory Program for finished products. The technician will also coordinate storage, organization, and shipment of finished product samples, and create COAs for finished product release. Responsibilities include coordinating verification, calibration, and maintenance programs for laboratory equipment, developing and validating quality assurance testing methods, and coordinating external lab testing programs. The role also supports the positive release process for finished products, contributes to root cause analysis of customer complaint investigations, and assists in maintaining FSQ documentation practices. Additionally, the technician will maintain the organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping of the FSQ Lab area, and manage inventory control for supplies and reagents. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, written and verbally.
  • Ability to document, describe and interpret records and documented specifications.
  • Ability to enforce company procedures and policies.
  • Ability to document inspection findings legibly and with accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Execute microbiological testing procedures for verifying commercial sterility of finished products.

  • Coordinate verification, calibration routines and maintenance program for laboratory equipment and instruments across all labs.
  • Develop and validate quality assurance testing methods.
  • Coordinate external lab testing programs.
  • Provide support and execute positive release process for finished products.
  • Provide contribution towards root cause analysis of customer complaint investigations.
  • Provide contribution towards maintenance and improvement of FSQ documentation practices.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness and housekeeping of FSQ Lab area.
  • Order and perform inventory control for supplies and reagents.
  • Other duties, as assigned by management.
