About The Position

This position monitors food quality attributes during production runs and verifies quality program records. It involves implementing Process Quality Control programs, including monitoring and verifying process control checks, documentation of the label verification program, and the product formulation program. The role also includes performing GMP audits, acting as a HACCP Authority to verify and preship HACCP records, auditing process and HACCP records, and conducting internal process and facility audits with follow-up verification of corrective actions. The technician will also work with USDA and 3rd party auditors and assist in maintaining and improving other assigned programs.

Requirements

Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
Must be 18 years of age or older (all plant positions)
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends
Must have 1 year consistent work history in FSQA

Responsibilities

Monitors food quality attributes during production runs.
Verifies quality program records.
Implements Process Quality Control programs.
Monitors and/or verifies process control checks (scale verification, slice count, etc.).
Monitors documentation of the label verification program and the product formulation program.
Performs GMP audits in production areas and corrects and helps retrain other team members as appropriate.
Trained as a HACCP Authority, where applicable, to verify and preship HACCP records.
Performs audits on the documentation of process and HACCP records.
Performs a section of routine internal process and facility audits, which includes detailed documentation of findings and subsequent follow-up verification of corrective actions.
Works with USDA and 3rd party auditors as needed.
Helps maintain, coordinate, and provide continuous improvement to other Programs as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.
