About The Position

This position monitors food quality attributes during production runs and verifies quality program records. The FSQ Technician implements Process Quality Control programs by monitoring and/or verifying process control checks (e.g., scale verification, slice count) and documentation of the label verification program and the product formulation program. Responsibilities also include performing GMP audits in production areas, correcting issues, and retraining team members. When trained as a HACCP Authority, this role verifies and preships HACCP records and audits the documentation of process and HACCP records. The technician performs a section of routine internal process and facility audits, including detailed documentation of findings and follow-up verification of corrective actions. This role also works with USDA and 3rd party auditors as needed and helps maintain, coordinate, and provide continuous improvement to other assigned programs. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
  • Must have 1 year consistent work history in FSQA.

Responsibilities
