About The Position

Papillion Foods is seeking an FSQ Technician for the 1st Shift. This role is responsible for monitoring food quality attributes during production runs, verifying quality program records, and implementing Process Quality Control programs. The technician will also perform GMP audits, assist with HACCP plan verification, and work with USDA and 3rd party auditors. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high food safety and quality standards.

Requirements

Must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
Must have 1 year consistent work history in FSQA.

Responsibilities

Monitors food quality attributes during production runs.
Verifies quality program records.
Implements Process Quality Control programs, including monitoring and verifying process control checks (e.g., scale verification, slice count).
Monitors documentation of the label verification program and the product formulation program.
Performs GMP audits in production areas and corrects issues, retraining team members as needed.
Trained as a HACCP Authority to verify and preship HACCP records.
Performs audits on the documentation of process and HACCP records.
Performs a section of routine internal process and facility audits, including documentation of findings and follow-up verification of corrective actions.
Works with USDA and 3rd party auditors as needed.
Helps maintain, coordinate, and provide continuous improvement to other Programs as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.
