The FSQ Auditor - 2nd Shift position involves performing quality inspections on random product samples to ensure they meet company-specific quality standards. This role monitors food safety, ensures accurate product identification and recipe adherence, and manages plant holds and releases. The auditor will enter quality inspection data, record deviations, process corrective action requests, and perform weekly audits. Responsibilities also include preparing forms, implementing corrective actions, reviewing documentation, and assisting with HACCP sign-offs and hold tag management. The role requires verifying equipment condition and calibration, maintaining HACCP and SQF documentation, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, SSOPs, and prerequisite programs. The auditor will also act as a backup for operational checklists, assist the Quality Control Supervisor with quality problems, and perform other necessary duties. Safety is paramount, requiring adherence to OSHA and company safety standards, proper PPE usage, maintaining a clean work area, reporting accidents, and ensuring safety devices are functional. Effective communication with coworkers and leaders, daily updates to supervisors, and suggesting improvements are also key aspects of the role.
