About The Position

This position is responsible for daily GMP audits, Blood temperature verification, Magnet Logs, Raw Material Inspection Forms, and Daily Sanitation Forms. Responsible for weekly Preventive Control Logs and Sanitation Weekly verification and quarterly Master Sanitation Logs; and Temperature Monitoring Calibration. Responsible for when needed Returned Goods Rework Product, Non-conforming product Review inspection, FDA Plant Visit Audit, Customer Plant Visit Audit and 3rd Party Audits. Assure all policies and procedures are adhered to including food safety.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year in a meat industry environment required.
Working knowledge of rendering preferred.
Basic computer skills preferred.
Must be able and willing to stand and walk on hard wet and slippery surfaces for long periods of time; crouch, squat, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally crawl.
Must be able to repetitively lift; occasionally overhead push pull; and carry 60 pounds individually and more with assistance.
Must be able to continuously and repetitively grasp, reach, pinch and hold small medium and large sized objects frequently.
Must be able to work in cold and or hot humid wet environment 15 degrees to 100 degrees.
Necessary paperwork filing and other duties as needed per general supervisor.
