The Fry Cook position is about following established recipes, procedures, portion controls, and presentation specifications. This role requires demonstrating an understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all station equipment. The Fry Cook will prepare, cook, and plate all food according to directions in a hygienic and timely manner. Responsibilities also include performing basic preparation duties, such as handling raw produce and meats, adhering to restaurant quality specifications, and following proper hygiene and food handling standards. Additionally, the Fry Cook will assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas. The role may also involve carrying out additional responsibilities as requested by Chefs or Managers.
