About The Position

Foundation Risk Partners (FRP), a rapidly growing insurance brokerage and consulting firm in the US, is seeking applicants for its 2026 Summer Internship Program in Sunrise, Florida. This eight-week program, starting in June 2027, aims to introduce students to the commercial insurance industry and prepare them for post-graduation careers. Interns will engage in project-based assignments, gaining meaningful professional experience through case studies across various departments of an insurance brokerage firm. They will also participate in collaborative sales projects and competitive presentations with other regional internship programs. The program offers hands-on experience and skill development in Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance Sales and Operations, Risk Management Services, Commercial Employee Benefits Sales and Operations, and Partnerships with key insurance carriers and wholesaler brokers. Interns will work closely with Regional Division Leaders, receive support from dedicated mentors, and participate in structured training sessions and industry-specific projects. Upon completion, participants will have a strong understanding of FRP's services, departments, specialty divisions, and the broader commercial insurance industry.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in college.
• Rising junior and/or senior in their respective major.
• Interested in exploring a career in the insurance industry.
• Communication, collaboration and leadership abilities.
• Initiative and motivation to succeed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Participate and contribute individually and as part of a team on project-based assignments.
