About The Position

This position is responsible for providing customer service within the scope of the role and company policy. The Frozen Manager will train, schedule, and supervise Frozen Food workers to ensure optimal staffing. They will also handle customer issues, manage inventory, replace stock, remove expired items, unload deliveries, and maintain the cleanliness of display areas and freezers. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow company customer service procedures.
  • Demonstrated prior customer service skills or related experience.
  • Ability to interact with customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to physically perform the listed job duties and requirements – e.g. lifting, standing, bending, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a clerk.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service as defined by the employer and company policy.
  • Train, schedule, and supervise Frozen Food workers to ensure optimum staffing patterns.
  • Speak with customers to resolve problems related to sales, satisfaction, or product issues.
  • Perform daily inventory and order necessary supplies to maintain adequate stock.
  • Replace stock in coolers, freezers, and end displays.
  • Remove all expired items from the shelves daily.
  • Unload boards and stack on pallets or six-wheel carts.
  • Push pallet jacks or six-wheel carts through the store to display areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness of display areas and freezers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
