About The Position

The Frozen Manager is responsible for providing customer service, training, scheduling, and supervising Frozen Food workers to ensure optimal staffing. This role involves resolving customer issues, managing inventory, stocking shelves, removing expired items, unloading stock, and maintaining the cleanliness of display areas and freezers. The position also includes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow company customer service procedures.
Demonstrated prior customer service skills or related experience.
Ability to interact with customers and co-workers.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.

Previous experience as a clerk.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service as defined by the employer within the scope of the position and company policy.
Train, schedule, and supervise Frozen Food workers to ensure optimum staffing patterns for the department.
Speak with customers to resolve problems involving sales, satisfaction with service, or product and other problems related to the operation of the Frozen Food area.
Perform daily inventory and order necessary supplies to maintain adequate inventory.
Replace stock in coolers, freezers, and end displays.
Make sure that all expired items are removed from the shelves daily.
Unload boards and stack on pallets or six wheel carts. Push pallet jacks or six wheeled carts through store to display areas.
Maintain cleanliness of display areas and freezers.
Other duties as assigned.
