About The Position

This position is responsible for providing customer service, training, scheduling, and supervising Frozen Food workers. The role involves managing daily inventory, ordering supplies, stocking shelves, and ensuring product freshness by removing expired items. Key tasks include unloading stock, moving products to display areas, and maintaining the cleanliness of display areas and freezers. The position also involves resolving customer issues related to sales, service, and products.

Requirements

Ability to follow company customer service procedures.
Demonstrated prior customer service skills or related experience.
Ability to interact with customers and co-workers.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service as defined by the employer within the scope of the position and company policy.
Train, schedule, and supervise Frozen Food workers to ensure optimum staffing patterns for the department.
Speak with customers to resolve problems involving sales, satisfaction with service, or product and other problems related to the operation of the Frozen Food area.
Perform daily inventory and order necessary supplies to maintain adequate inventory.
Replace stock in coolers, freezers, and end displays.
Ensure that all expired items are removed from the shelves daily.
Unload boards and stack on pallets or six wheel carts.
Push pallet jacks or six wheeled carts through store to display areas.
Maintain cleanliness of display areas and freezers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
