Requirements

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the frozen foods department.
• Ensuring product availability, food safety compliance, inventory accuracy, and exceptional customer service.
• Leading department associates, monitoring performance, and maintaining merchandising standards to achieve sales and operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the frozen foods department.
• Ensure shelves, freezers, and displays are fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and expiration dates.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and place replenishment orders as needed.
• Minimize shrink, waste, and product loss.
• Schedule, train, coach, and supervise department team members.
• Assign tasks and monitor productivity.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
• Promote a positive, safety-focused work environment.
• Track inventory movement and conduct cycle counts.
• Ensure accurate receiving, storage, and rotation of frozen products.
• Implement merchandising plans, promotions, and seasonal displays.
• Analyze sales trends and recommend actions to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain required freezer temperatures and equipment logs.
• Follow proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure department compliance with health and safety standards.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Assist customers with product selection and information.
• Drive a customer-first culture within the department.
