About The Position

The Frozen Foods Supervisor is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Frozen Foods Department to ensure exceptional customer service, sales growth, product quality, inventory accuracy, and compliance with company policies. This position assists in supervising department employees, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring a clean, safe, and well-stocked department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and promote a positive shopping experience.
  • Assist customers with product selection, special orders, and inquiries.
  • Resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service standards.
  • Support daily department operations to achieve sales, labor, and profitability goals.
  • Ensure frozen cases and displays are fully stocked, properly rotated, and merchandised.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate ordering needs.
  • Assist with department scheduling and coverage planning.
  • Execute promotional programs, seasonal displays, and merchandising initiatives.
  • Ensure product freshness through proper rotation and date control procedures.
  • Monitor product quality and remove damaged, expired, or unsellable merchandise.
  • Maintain accurate pricing and signage throughout the department.
  • Support inventory counts and shrink reduction efforts.
  • Assist in training, coaching, and developing department employees.
  • Provide direction and assign daily work tasks.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
  • Support performance management initiatives and departmental goals.
  • Follow all company food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain department cleanliness, including sales floor, freezer storage areas, and workspaces.
  • Properly handle, store, and dispose of products according to established guidelines.
  • Support efforts to meet department sales, profit, and shrink targets.
  • Assist with inventory management and expense control.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute ideas to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
