About The Position

This position is responsible for providing customer service within the scope of the role and company policy. The Frozen Food Manager will train, schedule, and supervise Frozen Food Clerks and Helper Clerks to ensure optimal staffing. This role involves interacting with customers to resolve issues, performing daily inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels in coolers, freezers, and displays. Key tasks include removing expired items, unloading stock, moving inventory using pallet jacks and carts, and maintaining the cleanliness of display areas and freezers. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow company customer service procedures.
Demonstrated prior customer service skills or related experience.
Ability to interact with customers and co-workers.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Ability to physically perform the listed job duties and requirements (lifting, standing, bending, etc.).

Previous experience as a clerk.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service as defined by the employer and within company policy.
Train, schedule, and supervise Frozen Food workers to ensure optimum staffing patterns.
Speak with customers to resolve problems involving sales, satisfaction, product, and other operational issues.
Perform daily inventory and order necessary supplies to maintain adequate inventory.
Replace stock in coolers, freezers, and end displays.
Ensure all expired items are removed from shelves daily.
Unload boards and stack on pallets or six-wheel carts.
Push pallet jacks or six-wheel carts through the store to display areas.
Maintain cleanliness of display areas and freezers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
