About The Position

Join the Festival Foods team as a Frozen Food & Dairy Clerk! Wisconsin leads the nation in frozen pizza consumption per capita, and you'll be a part of fueling that tradition in this role. As a Frozen Food/Dairy Clerk, you’ll help highlight the best of our FF/D offerings. Whether you're stocking milk, yogurt, frozen vegetables, pizza and ice cream or assisting guests in finding what they need, you'll be a key part of delivering an exceptional shopping experience with high-quality products.

Requirements

• Effective Communication Skills: Ability to interact tactfully and professionally with guests, leaders, and retail sales associate team members.
• Safety Awareness: Full understanding of safety protocols and company policies, including the ability to recognize and address potential safety hazards.
• Equipment Knowledge: Knowledge of and ability to learn equipment and procedures such as proper lifting techniques, trash compactors, balers, and power equipment.
• Ability to stand in place for a long period of time, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly.
• Full range of upper body motion.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service, including greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Assisting guests in finding specific frozen or dairy items and taking special orders.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring it is neat, tidy, and free of spills.
• Regularly stocking and maintaining product levels in accordance with company standards.
• Following the first-in, first-out method to rotate stock, ensuring all products are properly stocked and displayed.
• Ensuring product availability by filling items on display and checking inventory levels.
• Maintaining the quality of the Frozen/Dairy department by meeting all expectations for product availability, quality, and cleanliness.
• Maintaining regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and providing adequate notice for absences.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
