About The Position

Join the Festival Foods team as a Frozen Food & Dairy Clerk! Embrace the love for cheese and dairy in America's dairyland, by keeping these beloved products stocked and providing excellent service to our guests every day! Wisconsin leads the nation in frozen pizza consumption per capita, and you'll be a part of fueling that tradition in this role. As a Frozen Food/Dairy Clerk, you’ll help highlight the best of our FF/D offerings. Whether you're stocking milk, yogurt, frozen vegetables, pizza and ice cream or assisting guests in finding what they need, you'll be a key part of delivering an exceptional shopping experience with high-quality products.

Requirements

  • Ability to interact tactfully and professionally with both guests, leaders and retail sales associate team members.
  • Full understanding of safety protocols and company policies, including the ability to recognize and address potential safety hazards on the store premises.
  • Knowledge of ability to learn equipment and procedures such as proper lifting techniques, trash compactors, balers, and power equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service is at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s a friendly greeting, answering questions or addressing guest concerns, you’ll handle each interaction with professionalism and care. Your willingness to help guests with what they need will make a positive impact every day.
  • Help guests find specific frozen or dairy items, taking special orders when needed.
  • Ensure the sales floor is neat, tidy, and free of spills. Regularly stock and maintain product levels in accordance with company standards.
  • Follow the first in, first out method to rotate stock, ensuring all products are properly stocked and displayed.
  • Ensure products are always available by filling items on display and checking inventory levels to meet department goals.
  • Maintain the quality of the Frozen/Dairy department by meeting all expectations for product availability, quality, and cleanliness.
  • Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
  • Other duties as assigned
