Reporting to the Department Supervisor, the Team Leader is responsible for being a leadership resource to team members, providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, this is the role for you. Successful candidates will have some prior experience in leadership.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in the process area you will be supporting with working knowledge of area processes and job content.
  • Ideally bring a high level of responsibility around the safety and quality of your team as it reflects on your ability to lead.

Responsibilities

  • Production team leaders can be found on-site offering leadership skills and coaching to team members for activities such as manufacturing, processing parts, operating machines, packaging products, unloading, and more!
  • Instruct your teams on the proper use of safety equipment and emergency procedures should they be necessary at any point during the production process.
  • Responsible for meeting quality assurance standards as set by industry programs, such as ISO and Six Sigma.
  • Responsible for maintaining regular communication with cross-functional departments, such as distribution and engineering, to plan and execute production goals efficiently.
  • Encourages team effort and supportive attitudes between team members.
  • Problem solving! You will become a trained problem solver to continuously improve our processes and help develop team members to become problem solvers.
