About The Position

The Frontline Leader in the Warehouse will manage a small team of associates in our Warehouse and will be responsible for the timely movement of inventory, materials and products. Requirements

  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven leadership abilities with 3-5 years of experience (Team Lead, Supervisor, or similar role) in a warehouse, logistics, or materials management environment
  • Hands-on experience with receiving processes, including system entry, and discrepancy resolution
  • Forklift experience required (certification preferred or ability to obtain quickly)
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse operations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve performance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification (or recent practical experience operating various equipment)
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems
  • Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement experience
  • Experience in manufacturing or high-volume distribution environments

Responsibilities

  • Train, coach, and develop team members to improve performance, safety, and engagement
  • Monitor workflow and staffing to meet productivity and service level targets
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed; serve as a hands-on resource for the team
  • Investigate discrepancies, resolve inventory issues, and coordinate cross-functionally as needed
  • Foster a culture of safety by completing safety incident reports, holding others accountable to safety protocols, and providing mentorship to safety champions.
  • Support a quality culture and established quality standards. Understand the Red Tag process, quarantine process, and participating in root cause analysis.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to processes and associate performance to ensure that processes are picking, packaging, shipping/receiving runs effectively and efficiently
  • Ensure others are informed of day-to-day operations, delivery metrics, customer demands, or obstacles/challenges that the team are faced with.
