As part of the National Sales Strategy & Support team, you'll join a group dedicated to optimizing CIBC's frontline ecosystem and operating model. Reporting to the Director, Frontline Ecosystem Strategy, you’ll support personal banking and retail distribution by contributing to key projects that enhance productivity and operational effectiveness. In this co-op role, you’ll assist in analyzing operating models, gathering and organizing data, and helping structure work packages and reporting. You’ll work closely with regional partners, team members, and business leaders to help ensure our frontline roles have the tools and resources they need to succeed. This is a dynamic environment where project priorities may shift, offering you valuable exposure to strategic initiatives and the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Requirements

  • Pursuing post-secondary education.
  • Motivated to gain hands-on experience in project management, strategy development, and business analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to analyze spreadsheets and data to support project outcomes.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management and delivery of strategic projects, contributing to planning, documentation, and execution.
  • Help collect, organize, and analyze data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
  • Support the preparation of reports, meeting minutes, and work packages for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members, regional partners, and business leaders to gather information and share insights.
  • Participate in training and seek feedback to build your skills and understanding of the frontline ecosystem.
