About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our team. This full-time position requires an active Secret Clearance and involves building and deploying frontend applications, with a focus on map-based or geospatial features. You will work with modern technologies like React and TypeScript, integrate with backend services using FastAPI and Flask, and contribute to a secure software development lifecycle within an OpenShift environment. The role also involves writing and maintaining automated tests and clear technical documentation.

Requirements

Active Secret Clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least four years of professional software-development experience.
Hands-on experience building frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
Using Cesium or CesiumJS for map-based or geospatial application features.
Working with FastAPI and Flask in support of frontend-to-backend integration.
Experience working with GitLab-based development workflows.
Developing or deploying software in OpenShift environments.
Understanding of secure software-development lifecycle practices.
Writing and maintaining automated tests.
Ability to write clear, maintainable, and testable code.
Clear technical documentation and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Cesium, CesiumJS, or another geospatial or mapping framework.
Experience with map-based, spatial, or data-visualization applications.
Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or another containerized environment.
Experience with GitLab and secure CI/CD workflows.
