About The Position

Feathery is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join their team. This role involves building and scaling the core user-facing platform that powers critical customer workflows. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting high-quality user experiences, optimizing performance, and contributing to frontend architecture in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment. The role requires close collaboration with product, design, and engineering leadership to shape both the user experience and the frontend architecture of the platform. This is a high-ownership role that blends product-focused development, UI/UX craftsmanship, performance optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and frontend architecture/system design.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building frontend applications with React or similar frameworks
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend development practices
  • Experience taking features from idea to production in a collaborative environment
  • Passion for building polished, accessible, and intuitive user experiences
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building drag-and-drop interfaces, visual editors, or data-heavy UIs
  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for complex frontend applications
  • Experience working at a high-growth B2B SaaS company
  • Exposure to design systems or component libraries

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new features in our drag-and-drop form builder and workflow platform
  • Build intuitive, responsive, and highly interactive user interfaces
  • Collaborate closely with product and design to create seamless user experiences
  • Own features end-to-end, from concept through production
  • Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of frontend systems
  • Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and technical direction
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Help establish and evolve frontend best practices and tooling
  • Partner with backend engineers to integrate APIs and data models effectively
  • Work with solutions and customer-facing teams to support new use cases
  • Contribute to product planning and technical scoping discussions
  • Provide input on UX improvements based on user and customer feedback
