About The Position

Nex is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join a small, ambitious team focused on shaping the customer's initial discovery and engagement with their product. This role is frontend-first, with ownership of the marketing site, including its CMS, component library, performance, and overall user experience. The ideal candidate takes pride in a well-maintained web presence, notices details like pixel alignment and page load speed, and seeks to improve content publishing workflows. This position offers significant ownership and visibility, with direct collaboration with designers, marketers, and leadership. The engineer will be responsible for iterating on the design system, enhancing the content publishing pipeline, and ensuring the public-facing web experience is consistently excellent. The work will be live and visible to millions of visitors, making it ideal for someone passionate about frontend craft, the intersection of design and code, and who wants to be a key contributor to a team's success.

  • Ability to take ownership end-to-end, from scoping and building to deployment and production smoke testing.
  • Experience collaborating closely with non-engineering teams (marketers, designers, stakeholders) and translating between creative vision and technical reality.
  • A DIY mindset with a genuine obsession for code quality, user experience, and craft.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with modern full-stack JS frameworks (SvelteKit, Next.js, or similar).
