About The Position

The position of Front-End Developer will be part of the EMEA Experience domain’s application development team that builds a digital platform for Fiserv customers all over the world which allows them to manage and monitor their business through a central, single access point. It is a distribution channel for new products and tools for merchants.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience
• strong knowledge of Angular, HTML, and CSS/SCSS
• excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• good working knowledge of version control and code review tools (Git, GitLab)
• a proactive, collaborative approach and ownership mindset
• excellent written and spoken English

Nice To Haves

• degree/diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a relevant field
• familiarity with Docker
• comfortable writing developer tests (e.g., Jest, Karma)
• familiarity with current front-end tools and best practices
• experience working in high-performance Agile Scrum teams

Responsibilities

• work with the Business Analyst to make sure that the requirements are clear for you and the team
• contribute and add new features, resolve bugs, and refactor/improve the code base
• collaborate with API developers on the creation and integration of UI with new/modified API endpoints
• cover implemented UI changes with unit and e2e tests
• perform code review for developers from other teams
• cooperate with QAs to ensure high quality of the delivered piece of software
• collaborate with other Front-End Developers to make sure that the quality of our application constantly improves
