About The Position

Chapman Chevrolet is looking for a customer-focused Front Parts Counter Associate to join our team. In this role, you will manage the parts sales process from start to finish while providing knowledgeable and responsive service to both internal and external customers. The Front Parts Counter Associate will assist customers with parts inquiries, pricing, and availability, process orders, coordinate with vendors, and help ensure the parts department operates efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of GM/Isuzu Parts Catalog experience required
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and parts catalogs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills and a customer-focused approach
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Manage the parts sales process from start to finish
• Assist customers in person and by phone with parts inquiries, pricing, availability, and product information
• Pull, fill, and process parts orders accurately and efficiently
• Communicate with customers and vendors regarding parts availability, pricing, and order status
• Source and locate parts through outside vendors when necessary
• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal departments and external customers
• Maintain accurate records and an organized work area
• Support daily parts department operations and workflow
• Assist with the annual parts inventory
