Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a front office or administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients and visitors promptly and courteously, providing clear information and directions as needed.
  • Manage patient appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling using healthcare management software.
  • May perform patient registration, verify insurance information, and ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed.
  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries, transcribing messages appropriately and providing timely responses.
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to facilitate patient flow and resolve scheduling conflicts.
