Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years prior Front Desk experience, preferably in a luxury setting.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, early mornings, late evenings, overnights and holidays.
  • An enthusiastic, positive demeanor and desire to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with people of varied backgrounds, roles, and personalities.
  • Pass a pre-employment background investigation.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, pass a motor vehicle records check, and be insurable on company insurance.
  • Must have current Oregon Food Handler’s card, prior to first shift
  • Must have current OLCC permit, prior to first shift

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision, support and training to Front Office staff for an 85-room luxury boutique hotel.
  • When needed, perform the tasks of a Front Desk Associate, Bell/Valet, Concierge, Night Audit, Overnight Bell or other Rooms division tasks.
  • Assist other departments with special projects as needed.
  • Ensure hotel operations and standards are being properly maintained to provide total guest satisfaction.
  • Reports guest / team member complaints immediately to the Front Office Manager and/or Rooms Operations Manager.
  • Ensure that proper key and Cash Bank controls are in effect.
  • Effectively communicate with all team members in a professional manner.
  • Interact in a positive way with other departments to ensure a luxury guest experience.
  • Must be a leader of The Allison standards, and a champion of grooming and appearance guidelines.
