About The Position

The Front Office Clerk serves as the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a welcoming, organized, and efficient front office while supporting daily school operations and administrative functions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced school environment

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
  • Manage student check-in and check-out procedures in accordance with school policies
  • Assist with attendance tracking and documentation
  • Maintain accurate student records while ensuring confidentiality
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Perform data entry, filing, and general clerical duties
  • Support onboarding paperwork and administrative processes as needed
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and front office scheduling
  • Maintain office supplies and request orders as needed
  • Ensure the front office area remains clean, organized, and presentable
  • Provide support to administrators, teachers, and staff as needed
  • Uphold school policies and contribute to a positive and structured school culture
