About The Position

The Front Office Agent will provide hotel support and service in accordance with Aman’s Core Ambitions, Purpose, Brand Pillars, Values, Competencies and Spirit. This position has an hourly compensation rate of $37.91. The role involves performing all Front Office assigned functions, preparing, and executing an ideal Aman New York Journey to guests. It requires maintaining the highest quality database relating to Guest History and acting as an ambassador of Aman New York by providing genuine care to guests and team members. The agent will be a well-rounded hospitality professional following the Aman New York pillars and values, providing quality and genuine service by responding to guests and team members promptly, efficiently, and courteously, with follow-up and follow-through. Responding to guest and leadership feedback in areas relating to Guest Satisfaction and focusing on improvement is crucial. The role is responsible for achieving and maintaining a high guest retention ratio and possessing in-depth knowledge of activities, directions, travel time, cost, and various forms of transportation around New York City. Maintaining clean, neat, and organized surroundings, ensuring a safe and positive environment, and staying current with developments and procedures by attending pre-shift and departmental meetings are also key responsibilities. Any other reasonable duties as required by the Front Office Management Team may also be assigned.

Requirements

  • 1 year of related luxury hotel experience.
  • Must be proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
  • Positive, inclusive, genuine, innovative, engaging, and energetic personality.
  • Ability to handle guest requests and concerns in an efficient, calm, and genuine manner.
  • Able to be organized, manage time wisely, showcase high levels of attention to detail.
  • Sensitive and inclusive to all cultural nuances.
  • Handle confidential materials and matters with full discretion.
  • Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, fast paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of Hotel School or College Degree is a plus.
  • Opera PMS knowledge is preferred.
  • multi-lingual is a plus.
