Requirements
- Current Oregon Food Handler's card
- Current OLCC Permit
- Reliable transportation is required. Due to our location, dependable transportation to and from our store is essential.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience - food service or hospitality experience highly preferred
- A genuine passion for hospitality and team development
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to stay composed and solution-oriented under pressure
- High standards for cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence
- Reliability, accountability, and a collaborative mindset
Nice To Haves
- Barista experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary customer service: task pivot and converse with customers
- Engage in active selling
- Sale and promotion of products
- Help direct customers around the store and menu
- Maintain excellent product knowledge
- Produce all food and beverage items precisely according to Elephant's recipes
- Proper use equipment as specified by Manager and/or trainer
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Cross-train in various FOH roles
- Reinforce service, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Monitor workflow and pace during peak hours
- Address guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
