About The Position

Barracuda is a neighborhood taco stand & margarita garden, offering outdoor dining and takeout, serving high quality tacos on fresh tortillas. We believe that great food and drinks should be prepared simply - at an accessible price point - and foster fun and memorable experiences for a diverse community of people. As a member of the team, you will provide our customers an exceptional, consistent experience by implementing Barracuda's standards of service, product quality, and cleanliness. Every member of our team works to create an environment where everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Must be available to work weekends, including Sundays. The Counter role involves being the first point of contact for guests, taking orders, explaining the menu, and managing the flow of service. This requires confidence, strong menu knowledge, and excellent people skills. The Support role is versatile and may include running food, packing to-go orders, managing the dips station (chips + queso, guacamole, and salsa), and maintaining the yard (tidying tables, stocking napkins and bathrooms, etc.). All Counter employees must be 18 years of age or older due to state laws regarding alcohol sales.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older (for Counter role due to alcohol sales)
• Available to work weekends, including Sundays
• Personable and enjoys working with customers and a diverse team
• Personal interest and enthusiasm for food and proactive hospitality
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (6 or more hours per shift)
• Ability to lift heavy objects (25+ pounds)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
