Front of House Service Staff
About The Position
The Country Club of Buffalo is currently hiring front-of-house service staff to join our team. We are seeking year-round service staff with AM and PM availability. At this time, we are primarily looking to fill two types of service roles within our dining operation. We would be happy to meet with you, share more about what we do, and discuss which role may be the best fit! A La Carte Dining Server A la carte servers provide traditional table service to our members for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a fine dining club environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys member interaction, polished service standards, and a structured dining environment. Banquet Server Banquet servers support the club’s private events, weddings, and golf outings, particularly during our busy summer season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced teamwork and event-based service.

Responsibilities
- Providing attentive and professional table service to members
- Understanding and executing proper steps of service
- Using professional communication and service verbiage with members and staff
- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail throughout service
- Learning and memorizing monthly menu changes
- Polishing silverware and glassware
- Maintaining a clean, organized service area and completing side work
- Providing efficient service for high-volume events
- Assisting with banquet and event setup and breakdown
- Carrying trays and executing plated or buffet service
- Moving and setting tables, chairs, and event furniture
- Adapting to changing workloads and event timelines
- Working closely with the banquet team to ensure smooth event execution
