Requirements

High level of food service product knowledge and enthusiasm for food, cooking, and nutrition
Must be a positive team player, leader, and positive role model that can effectively manage through change
Must possess a readiness to manage, train and coach others
Detail oriented, organized with effective time management skills
Excellent guest service skills
Critical thinker with a strong desire to develop proficiencies in schedule writing, inventory management, ordering practices, and forecasting

Ability to be MAST certified

Demonstrates self-discipline and accountability
Must have intermediate or higher computer skills including MS Office

Responsibilities

Manages Front of House operations, station assignments and daily break schedules for the Field House, which includes coffee/pastry/juice/smoothie area
In the absence of the Market Manager (Hospitality) or Restaurant Manager, manages all back-of-house and front-of-house Field House operations and production
Provides leadership and support in designated food service area of responsibility and is the go-to leadership in the absence of the Kitchen Manager
Prepares department product for sale
Participates in establishing and maintaining an integral and collaborative environment
Assists in achieving quarterly financial goals with a focus on gross and labor
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, guests, market support staff and vendor community
Ensures the adherence to Ready for Business standards throughout food service departments
Works closely with market staff to achieve the timely completion of administrative tasks and operational functions
Assists in the training and development of employees
Establishes and maintains a 360-feedback process including guests, staff and leadership
Provides and role models excellent guest service
Maintains the integrity of our brand and marketing expressions
Maintains departments in a neat, clean and orderly manner
Establishes and maintains a culture of safety throughout all food service departments
Ensures food service compliance with local, state and federal laws
Keeps up on industry trends, standards, and changes
Ensures the dissemination of and adherence to all company and department policies
Supports and follows all safety/security policies and sustainability programs
