About The Position

We are seeking a talented and mission-driven Front-End Software Engineer to support high-impact national security programs. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and offers the opportunity to build intuitive, scalable, and secure user interfaces for mission-critical systems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• 2–10 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services
• Experience using Git and working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting geospatial, intelligence, or mission-focused systems
• Familiarity working within IC environments or agencies
• Experience developing data visualization or geospatial web applications
• Knowledge of GIS concepts, mapping libraries (e.g., Leaflet, OpenLayers, Mapbox), or geospatial data formats
• Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or Azure

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-focused web applications
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for scalable development
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and accessibility
• Integrate front-end interfaces with APIs and backend services
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, data engineers, and mission stakeholders
• Support deployment and troubleshooting within secure environments
