About The Position

iDox is seeking an experienced and highly motivated C# .NET Software Developer with strong SQL skills to join our team supporting a secure Government environment in Charleston, SC. This role involves maintaining and enhancing legacy desktop applications, developing unattended/headless processes, and creating modern web-based applications. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced government contracting environment and can work seamlessly with both technical teams and government stakeholders.

Requirements

Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and SQL development.
Hands-on experience with Visual Studio for development and debugging.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Experience developing WPF/XAML applications.
Active Top Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience with MVVM architecture.
Familiarity with Git version control.
Experience with automated testing and build pipelines.
Experience working with XML and JSON.
Knowledge of secure software development best practices.
Previous experience in a government contracting environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Windows-based and web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework (C#, SQL).
Support and maintain legacy desktop applications using WPF/XAML.
Develop automated processes, including headless/unattended operations.
Implement solutions using Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) architecture when applicable.
Participate in full software development life cycle (SDLC) activities including requirements gathering, system design, coding, debugging, and deployment.
Utilize Git for source control and collaborate using modern development practices.
Create and maintain automated tests and builds to ensure product quality and reliability.
Work with XML and JSON data formats for data integration and transformation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multi-vendor, government-supervised environment.
