About The Position

Join GRVTY’s mission-focused team as a Front-End Software Engineer, designing and delivering modern web-based applications that support national security customers. The role contributes to mission systems that help operators process, analyze, and act on large-scale data in time-sensitive environments. You will develop user-facing applications and intuitive, responsive interfaces as part of scalable, secure, mission-driven software solutions.

The position works with systems engineers, UI/UX designers, mission partners, and other cross-functional teams. It includes integrating front-end applications with backend services and RESTful APIs, troubleshooting performance and usability issues, and supporting demonstrations and user engagement to ensure solutions meet mission needs.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing front-end web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional engineering teams.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AG-Grid, Cesium, HTML5 Canvas, Websocket, Keycloak, and Elasticsearch/Kibana.
• Experience with backend technologies such as Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles, accessibility, and usability best practices.
• Experience working in AWS or other cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience supporting mission systems or national security customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications supporting mission systems.
• Develop interactive, responsive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, UI/UX designers, and mission partners to create mission-critical technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end application performance and usability issues with cross-functional teams.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Support demonstrations and user engagement to ensure solutions meet mission needs.
