About The Position

The Front-End Software Engineer designs and develops complex software products and significant enhancements to existing software. The role focuses on building modular, reusable components and features using a modern front-end framework. The engineer works in an Agile environment with limited supervision and contributes to continuous improvement and innovation. This position is onsite in Chantilly, Virginia, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and U.S. citizenship.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline; or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
Must currently possess a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
U.S. citizenship required.
8 to 10 years of related software development experience.
Extensive experience with Angular.
Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience designing complex search interfaces.
Experience optimizing web applications for performance and usability.
Experience integrating with third-party APIs.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
Experience with Linux operating systems.
Experience with SASS or LESS.
Hands-on experience with NodeJS and MongoDB.
Familiarity constructing ElasticSearch queries.

Responsibilities
