About The Position

Garney is hiring a Front End Loader Operator. The role requires previous construction experience and involves operating machinery for excavating, backfilling, trenching, ditching, clearing, looming, fine grading, and final cleanup. The operator may also perform laborer duties as needed. The position requires safe equipment operation as part of a crew, routine operator-level machine maintenance, knowledge of safe working loads and signals, and handling trench boxes of various sizes and shapes. The operator must be willing to work overtime and travel as needed.

Requirements

Previous construction experience.
Three years of experience operating equipment.
Firm knowledge of equipment operations and maintenance.
Willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

Operate a front end loader safely as part of a crew.
Perform operator-level maintenance on the machine.
Understand safe working loads and signals.
Handle trench boxes of all sizes and shapes.
Perform activities such as excavating, backfilling, trenching, ditching, clearing, looming, fine grading, and final cleanup.
Perform laborer functions as required.
