Front-End Loader Operator/Plant Operator - Night Shift
About The Position
The Front-End Loader/Plant Operator is responsible for the maintenance of all plant equipment and grounds, along with front-end loader operation when needed. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Operating a front-end loader for stockpiling and loading customer trucks Maintenance of conveyor systems and other plant equipment Mowing and weed-eating of plant property Painting plant equipment and buildings Assisting with other operations as needed Work will be performed at a plant facility in North Little Rock, Arkansas. This position will operate during overnight shifts. We supply high-quality sand and gravel in Central Arkansas from two distribution facilities located on the banks of the Arkansas River (North Little Rock and Conway). Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience as a loader operator
- Ability to load trucks using a Front-End Loader
- Ability to work during severe conditions, including inclement weather
- Ability to work 11 or more hours per day
- Ability to work overnight shifts
- Ability to work Saturdays when required
- Ability and willingness to do manual labor, including lifting items as heavy as 50 pounds
