About The Position

Transform technology into opportunity as a Front End Engineer Senior at GDIT. Shape what’s next for mission-critical government projects while shaping what’s next for your engineering career. As a Front End Engineer Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the MPO customer. You will play a crucial role in enhancing section 508 accessibility of the current interface as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• 5+ years of related experience
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
• US citizenship required
• Java 8+ Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications
• GWT
• Angular
• Primefaces
• Quarkus
• Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with screen readers
• 508/WAI-ARIA knowledge
• Oracle
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Agency reporting and dissemination tools
• Agency classification policies
• Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence

Responsibilities

• Support multiple tools to include a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished products and a system for mission-critical published intelligence reports used by the Intelligence Community and partners around the world.
• Collaborate with top tier teams
• Drive 508 accessibility of the current interfaces as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.
