About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining customer service as per company standards, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, point of sale operations, processing freight, and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and store standards. The role involves greeting and acknowledging every customer, answering customer questions, and helping customers find product locations. It also includes answering incoming phone calls, maintaining constant radio communication with all associates, and possessing comprehensive knowledge of the products sold. The cashier will also assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping. Additional duties include helping in other departments when needed, performing daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, replacing trash bags, and sweeping, and other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
