About The Position

Under the general direction of the Manager on Duty, facilitate the shift. Must be able to handle returns and POS issues. Monitor for customer traffic and call for more cashiers as necessary. This role involves greeting customers, demonstrating friendly and prompt service, and acting as a role model for staff. It also includes answering phones, routing calls, adhering to company service standards, and resolving customer conflicts respectfully. The associate will check communication logs and company email, adhere to dress code policies, and report to work on time for scheduled shifts. Understanding and adhering to organizational and departmental policies and procedures, accepting direction willingly, and maintaining job-related confidentiality are also key aspects. The role requires performing tasks consistently at an acceptable rate, achieving established goals, and organizing tasks efficiently to maintain focus and productivity.

Requirements

  • 1 year cashiering and customer service experience.
  • Strong understanding of and ability to problem-solve front end POS (Point of Sale) and computer systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as the Turnip Truck employee handbook.
  • Ability to prioritize work tasks, multi-task and maintain focus.
  • Ability to communicate politely and effectively with customers and employees.

Responsibilities
