About The Position

As a front end associate, you are the last person to have contact with the customer. This role is key to ensuring the customer has had an exceptional shopping experience. Honeoye Falls Marketplace and Mendon Meadows has been a family run business for over 30 years. Our company motto is we CARE (Community, Accountability, Respect, Engagement). They are exceptional at promoting our store PERX loyalty card. Our cashiers process all forms of payments, EBT, WIC, coupons, and in store discounts appropriately. They learn to follow proper bagging techniques, gain knowledge of product location, and maintain understanding for the company's weekly sale items. Most importantly, our front end team adheres to all state and county regulations regarding age-restricted products.

Requirements

Part time afternoon/evening availability - working at least 2 days during the week and 1 weekend shift
Exceptional communication skills
Highly motivated individual
Team player with the ability to work independently at times
Ability to multitask
Focused, efficient with attention to detail
The ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

Grocery and/or retail experience preferred

Responsibilities
