About The Position

To perform in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner, a combination of duties mainly related, but not limited, to check-in and check-out of guests, which contributes to an overall positive experience. This is part time position, with the potential for full-time work.

Requirements

Must have good customer relations skills.
A friendly and professional tone and actions are vital.
Must be able to speak clearly and listen carefully.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Registers and assigns rooms to guests.
Issues room keys and gives instructions to guests as appropriate.
Stamps mail in the outbox.
Transmits and receives messages using equipment such as telephone, fax and switchboard.
Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests and shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions.
Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts.
Computes bills, collects payment and makes changes for guests.
Makes, confirms, modifies and cancels reservations for guests.
Posts charges such as room, food, or telephone by hand or machine.
Makes restaurant, transportation or entertainment reservations for guests.
Deposits guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe deposit box.
