Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting or office management.
  • Must be comfortable using computers and willing and able to learn point of sale and member management software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Active listening skills and ability to relate to and provide service to individuals of different backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve and make decisions with limited supervision.
  • Strong quality orientation including attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
  • Strong skills in multi-tasking and the ability to remain calm and professional while completing multiple tasks at once.
  • Flu vaccination required during the Fall season.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are preferred but will be required within 30 days of hire, can provide training in house.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily front desk operations and ensuring an exceptional member and guest experience.
  • Leading the front desk team, maintaining high service standards, supporting membership processes, and serving as a key point of contact for member inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Creating a welcoming, organized, and professional environment that reflects the facilities values.
  • Supervising, training, and scheduling front desk staff and back of house staff to ensure appropriate coverage.
  • Conducting onboarding, ongoing training, and performance feedback.
  • Coaching team members on customer service standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Communicating important updates, promotions, and operational changes.
  • Overseeing daily front desk operations, including check-in procedures and guest protocols.
  • Maintaining front desk area cleanliness, organization, and professionalism.
  • Managing, reviewing, and submitting bi-weekly payroll for the front desk team.
  • Fostering a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Enforcing club policies and safety procedures consistently.
  • Greeting members and guests warmly and professionally as well as addressing member questions, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service.
  • Ensuring accuracy in membership records, payments, and transactions.
  • Supporting member retention through relationship-building and proactive service.
  • Assisting with membership sales support, promotions, and special events.
  • Collaborating with fitness, locker room, and other departments to support member needs.
  • Supporting Kids club with coverage and staffing needs.
  • Other duties as needed/assigned.
