This hands-on leadership role oversees staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance while actively supporting front desk operations and maintaining high service standards. Requirements

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience required, preferably in a fitness, hospitality, customer service, or front desk environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with members, guests, and staff.
  • Ability to lead by example, motivate a team, and maintain a positive, professional work environment.
  • Experience with staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and day-to-day team supervision.
  • Ability to handle member concerns, resolve conflicts, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Associate’s degree preferred; applicable work experience may be substituted in lieu of formal education.

Responsibilities

  • Leading daily front desk operations by providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all members and guests.
  • Serving as both a hands-on team member and supervisor by actively supporting front desk operations while overseeing staff performance and service standards.
  • Creating, coordinating, and supervising staff schedules to ensure proper coverage and smooth daily operations.
  • Training, onboarding, coaching, and mentoring all front desk staff to maintain consistency, professionalism, and high performance standards.
  • Leading by example through professionalism, accountability, strong communication, and teamwork.
  • Handling and resolving member concerns, complaints, and complex issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensuring staff compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and organizational standards.
  • Assisting with performance evaluations, staff development, and corrective actions while supporting front desk operations as needed.
